Limestone Networks Donates Servers to Local Non-Profit

Limestone Networks, a leading provider of on-demand, dedicated and cloud hosting services, donated numerous Intel-powered servers and workstations to Dallas-based Christ for the Nations, a world-renowned institute.

Dallas, Texas. April 4, 2016.

Non-profit organizations are primarily funded through the charity of private donors. Such donations often get allocated to the most essential departments requiring IT to make use of aging, legacy systems. Christ for the Nations was no exception. “A lot of the staff has been operating on old Intel Core2Duo’s, most with less than 4GBs of RAM,” Said Support Technician, Nuresh Perera. “They’ve been a challenge to maintain.”

Possessing a global influence, Christ for the Nations has trained 40,000+ students, including leaders of state. Its network consists of many nodes, spanning multiple buildings, over an 85 acre campus in south Dallas. With respect to the contribution, Michael Mascherini, Network Administrator for CFNI commented, “I really appreciate the generosity of Limestone Networks. These servers will help us to migrate our systems onto more stable platforms, and will benefit the Institute for years to come.”
